Back in the '60s, a little round pedal changed the sound of rock forever. From Hendrix's searing leads to Gilmour's soaring sustain, the Fuzz Face became the foundation of countless legendary tones. Players loved it, but they also fought it—those old germanium transistors were moody, unpredictable, and downright temperamental.
When we set out to create the Sun Fuzz, we wanted to capture everything people loved about that circuit—the grit, the bloom, the touch sensitivity—while stripping away the headaches that came with it.
Plug In and Fuzz Out
So here it is the Sun Fuzz, professionally built and ready to play. Same circuit, same obsession with detail, but now you can skip the soldering and go straight to the sound.
With classic Volume, Fuzz, and Tone controls—and hidden bias and clean trim pots for endless tweaking—you can dial in anything from a gritty rasp to infinite sustain. Thanks to the silicon BC-108 transistor, it's more reliable, more consistent, and plays well with humbuckers, single-coils, P-90s, and nearly any amp.
