Fairfield Circuitry The Unpleasant Surprise Experimental Fuzz/Gate
Reminisce about the time you got your shoulder caught in the reciprocating saw while this unit destroys your slick jazz lines.
The fruit of an oddball circuit, hanging there awkwardly by some parasitic effect. Tweaked, bended and shoe-horned to optimize it's stench, it's unpleasance. Time has come to turn all dynamics to shit. Strangely, it feels very natural.
Fairfield Circuitry Randy's Revenge Ring Modulator
At its finest, in a considerably small package, powered by your typical 9V power supply, all analogue, hand stamped, pure sine wave oscillator, low-pass filtered with a touch of class and apparently musical. These are the requirements of warp speed space travel; a regular occurrence when dealing with Randy's hardware.
The lower oscillator frequencies create rich trem/vibe effects, excruciatingly slow or chopped up rhythmic flavours. As the frequency goes up, thick bells, tuned intervals, low-fidelity synth-like effects are only the beginning. Experimenting with the low-pass filter cutoff frequency and the dry/wet mix will yield tones as strange or subtle as desired.
Featuring expanded control voltage (CV) capabilities that allow for interactions beyond the simple stacking of effects, Randy can be used to control and be controlled by other CV capable devices. The stereo CV is switch-programmable for use with an expression pedal or as a 2-channel CV port. Both the oscillator and low-pass filter frequency are voltage-controllable. The internal oscillator is also available as an output, turning Randy into a stand-alone voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO).

Fairfield Circuitry Long Life Parametric EQ w/ Tilt & CV
A state-variable filter with wide range and application. Versatile. Combining tilt and notch/boost equalization around a 2nd-order (-12dB/octave) state-variable core.
Very much a one-band parametric equalizer with gritty extras:
Fairfield Circuitry Modèle B Always On Barbershop
For everyone out there who nevers turns off their Barbershop, this is for you. The same circuit in a tiny box, no bypass switch, no light. You can select between two tone options via a jumper inside the pedal:
Always on, never off, this is serious.View full product details
Fairfield Circuitry Hors d'Oeuvre?
As you wait for the next tray of free food on platters held by white gloves, notice the contrasts that emerge from the hunger and tensions within the space. Will we remember what it takes to keep us here?
Indeed, causality breaks down when feedback loops are involved. The effect nestled within the cause, without cause, and so on. There is no beginning or end, at least objectively. And so, who eats the last hors d'œuvre, when time is space and silence is noise
The Hors d'Oeuvre? Active Feedback Loop then serves different opportunities to create and listen to: bipolar feedback of any combination of sound processing devices, and signal difference of input and return signals.
It is intentionally an introduction.View full product details
Fairfield Circuitry ~900 Four Knob Fuzz
And when things are combined, is anything lost? And when something is lost, will there ever be more?
But what is the gain?
The ~900 is a ferocious fuzz pedal featuring two cascading JFET gain stages. Tracing its lineage back to our discontinued Four Eyes Fuzz, it offers a very wide range of gain, adds delicious harmonics and, if given the opportunity, will slap the ice cream cone right out of your hand.
The four highly interactive controls are:
INPUT - input gain
FUZZ - second stage gain
BIAS - second stage bias and gain
VOLUME - output level
Fairfield Circuitry The Accountant Compressor
Every operation needs an accountant, and your signal chain is no exception. This little guy will fit right in, no questions asked. Call upon his services to crunch numbers, cook your books and calculate ratios in all confidence that your shit will remain tight.
We’re talking about a mostly utilitarian relationship here, but one of trust as well. Whether you enjoy slight, nuanced dynamics control or you just want to squeeze your signal into one dimension, you'll find a use for The Accountant.
Featuring all analogue, JFET feedback compression, The Accountant works well with all signal sources; guitars, bass, vocals, synths, even whole mixes. A simple control interface allows you to change the threshold, compression ratio and makeup gain.View full product details
Fairfield Circuitry Shallow Water K-Field Modulator
Poolside conversations while staring at your own reflection. The depths of which shall never be known, at least not for another couple thousand years. So it goes.
Before the reflection, is the experience. Before phenomena, or even noumena, is that which is undefinable. That which has never been heard, that which will never be heard again and that which has always been heard but never listened to.
K-field (Simulation mathematics), an undefined, two-dimensional, non-linear field where past and future forces interact at irregular intervals. Shallow Water generates this k-field by randomly modulating a short time delay to create unexpected shifts in pitch. The result is this non cyclical vibrato/chorus/flanger-type thing favouring old tape flavours.
The water is shallow on this side of the pool. Do not dive and you will not drown.View full product details
Fairfield Circuitry Meet Maude Analogue Delay
Imparting a dark and tape-like quality to your sound, this analogue delay offers a rich and distinct character for you to wallow in luxury, self-righteousness and filth.
Using the tone and feedback controls, you can shape your repeats to be much more than simple reproductions of the input. Play right on the threshold of feedback, which you can mold as a low thundering growl or screeching wail, or let your echo slowly die out as the dynamic output filter gets darker every repeat.
A random delay time modulation adds a true tape feel to the delay, like a reel-to-reel motor spinning not quite perfectly. Full CV capabilities allow you to control delay time and/or feedback with any external source, like an expression pedal. The water is shallow on this side of the pool.
