Sunn Amplification Beta Mini 200 Watt Guitar/Bass Amplifier Head
Often described as the first great sounding solid state amplifier, the beta was a revolutionary design when first launched. The unique analog MOSFET design provides a wide range of tones from clean to a distinctive fuzz-like distortion that cleans up with the instrument volume control. Used by Kurt Cobain, Red Fang, Melvins, Metallica, Tool, and others, the beta has cemented itself into rock history.
Leading the new Sunn Modern line, the Beta Mini combines the unmistakable sound of the original with the latest technology in a powerful yet compact multi-use instrument amplifier. The Beta Mini is four amplifiers in one. The two independent channels can be set for either guitar or bass use. It can be used as a preamp only with an outboard power amp, mixing desk, or recording system. The Mini is also a standalone power amp for other guitar preamps such as the Sunn PL-20.
At just 10” wide and less than 4 lbs in weight, the Beta Mini is the ultimate portable amplifier for practice, rehearsal, recording, and performance.
