The limited-edition Tim Commerford Artist Series StingRay Bass in Quentin Blue, developed in collaboration with legendary bassist Tim Commerford of Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, and 7D7D, embodies his deep connection to Ernie Ball Music Man. With only 50 units available, each featuring a numbered custom neck plate, this bass combines an ash body, roasted maple neck, and ebony fretboard for rich, balanced tone. It features passive electronics with a neodymium humbucker, a volume control that includes a passive boost, a 3-way rotary pickup selector, and a tone knob for a wide range of tonal options. The string-through-body bridge with a mute kit enhances sustain and control, while black hardware and a custom, height-adjustable “finger ramp” thumb rest - inspired by Commerford’s playing style - provide added comfort and flexibility.
