One thing that is astounding about living in Nashville is number of GREAT guitar players living here. I always say, if you throw a rock in Nashville, you will hit a guitar picker. And we’re not talking about a bunch of slugs either. These are some of the best pickers the world has to offer! This year at Summer NAMM almost every one of them asked for the same style pick, a small, teardrop shape that is 1.5mm thick and sounds like their fingernails. HERE IT IS! The new Chicken Picker. This pick is incredibly fast! That is, if you can already play incredibly fast. It sticks out the perfect length so that you can either choke up on it or just use the whole pick. It is also very comfortable to tuck in under your fingers when you finger pick. But don’t let the name fool you. I have had some metal players try this puppy out and they went nuts! Again, we’re talking fast action here folks.

Billy Gibbons Signature Model Guitar Pick by V-PICKS was designed with and for Billy Gibbons in the V-PICKS shop here in Nashville.
If you are a ZZ Top fan or if you know one, then check this out! Billy Gibbons now plays the V-PICKS Tradition Lite Ghost Rim guitar pick! It sports Billy’s likeness that his tech Elwood Francis drew for him. We leave it unbuffed on the edges (Ghost Rim) for that snap, growl and attitude.
I do want to say a couple of words about this man. One time we were having lunch together. He noticed two people at another table that recognized him but did not want to interrupt his lunch. He excused himself, walked across the room, handed each of them a ZZ Top key ring, shook their hands and then came back to finish his meal. THAT is just one of the many reasons he is still on top! He is one of the coolest guys I know. When you talk to Billy, he listens to every word you say. He then reacts to every word you say. He is a real, kind, smart, caring person.View full product details

Legendary guitarist, Ed King, an original member of Lynyrd Skynyrd, co-wrote the hit song “Sweet Home Alabama” And, it’s his voice you can hear counting off the tune before launching into his famous Stratocaster riff.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee 2006.
Ed has played with sea shells for over 30 years now. He has recently retired them and has chosen this V-Pick to play exclusively. It is a great honor to present to you and the world his new model…
If you are a Lynyrd Skynyrd or Ed King fan, you will want one of these! You may want two. One to play with and the other to save and collect. I know I am going to put a few of them away for myself, for sure.
Ed King was VERY influential in my playing and career. Not only was his work instrumental in helping to shape my style and sound,
Ed has chosen this very model as his favorite V-Pick. I guess I got it right! I cannot tell you how much this means to me to have Ed in our corner playing V-Picks. Not only is he a fine guitarist and brilliant song writer, he is also a sweetheart of a guy.
So, again, it gives me great pleasure to present to you the Ed King V-PICK Signature Model.View full product details
